Cekmekoy is a new district in Istanbul Asian Side, Its population is 75.423 in 2008. Its borders are Cekmekoy Military Barrack on the east, Umraniye - Sile highway on the west, Umraniye and Sarıgazi on the south, Alemdag Forest and Cavusbasi on the north.

Cekmekoy which is gaining value about building land, especially its strong ground after earth quake in 1999.
Very easy to reach to Fatih Sultan Bridge by Sile highway for acrossing to Istanbul Europan Side.
Cekmekoy with its pine forest around is far from Istanbul's noisy and disorder in spite of too close to downtowns.
