Sancaktepe, Istanbul is a town in Anatolia Side  and attained the status of district in 2008. Kartal  in south , Maltepe in southwest, Ümraniye and Ataşehir in west , in north Cekmekoy and southeast Pendik is adjacent to the  district.

 County is 61.90 km2, population of 223.755 is within limits and there are 20 district and 2 villages. Ümraniye Sarigazi connected to and by a combination of Yenidoğan and Eagle's Samandıra area emerged.

 Center Sarigazi is designated as the District and the new municipal buildings Sarigazi district was built in the center.
